Our stay was very enjoyable and the luxury of the linens especially outstanding. we mustn't forget the very posh ladie loo's
Excellent decor. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely well kept garden full of colour.
The most striking point was the friendliness and flexibility of the staff to meet individual needs. Secondly was the ambience, and the friendly locals who were willing to engage in a bit of chat. If I had to base myself somewhere locally for more than a weekend I would put this establishment at the top.
The en-suite within my room at the top of the stairs was a tad cramped, but manageable for the short duration of my stay.
Tastefully modernised decor, attentive service, great creative food
Twin room was slightly small, especially the ensuite -- but otherwise well appointed.
The extremely relaxed and friendly attitude of all staff, we were made to feel very welcome. All of our meals were first class, good and varied choice, cooked and presented to perfection. The requirement to give a time when we wished to take our meals didn't cause any problems. There was nothing we could fault.
Bit of a mix up with our bill, but easly resolved.
It had a very pleasant atmosphere, modern decor and extremely obliging and helpful staff and management.
The first bedroom we were offered, a twin with shower, was small and dark. However we were given a much larger, airier and lighter room with Bath on request. The showering facilities in the bath were inadequate.
Excellent service, attentive staff and attractive rooms.
Room was lovely, all furnishings were top quality and the little extras like chocs & biscuits were a nice touch. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and would be satisfy anyone. Our visit incorporated a birthday and our 36th wedding anniversary so we are seasoned travellers and this is a keeper. Would recommend anyone to stay there.
We had a beautiful bath with a hand held shower but it would have been even nicer to have had a wall mounted shower over the bath as well. But this is a suggestion rather than a complaint. It would not stop us from returning.
Exceptionally clean and very stylish with very good food and service
Friendly staff - well decorated and maintained hotel. Good restaurant.
The Old Orleton has been sympathetically modernised into a chic boutique hotel right on the edge of the countryside. We had a lovely room and food and service were both excellent.
The menu was a bit limited for anything other than a weekend stay and as no food was served on a Sunday night we had to go to another hotel for a bar meal which was not as good. We were a bit worried that not being far from the road our room might be noisy but this was not the case even though it was a warm night and we had the window open.
Was very noisy until at least 1.30 in the morning
A gem of a find; somewhere we will definitely return to. Staff superb; comfortable modern design in an old building - home from home for us Food of a very high standard
